i cannot contain my excitement.

i'm going to visit south africa.  venturing in a city i have never explored.  i haven't gone yet but i'm already entertaining thoughts of going back and it excites me all the more.

i was at the dfa before holy week to have my passport renewed.  new rules.  appearance is required. i was there for only a few minutes.  people were quite efficient.  they told me they need 10 working days and i'll get my new passport.

the photo i had taken near the visitor's entrance of dfa took just a few minutes to develop.  i stare at it thinking i'll have to deal with this picture until i get a new passport, in what?  6 more years?  and i chose to come without make up.  at least my hair was somewhat ok.  but few people will get to see it, so who cares, right?  besides, i don't look my age in the picture, i convincingly tell myself. ok. ok.

age. ouch.  my birthday is in 2 months and i'll be adding another year.  44.  i was just getting used to being 43.  what the hell happened?!!

i'm a bit nervous.  i need it to secure my visa for s. africa.  they need 15 days.  i'm supposed to leave on the 26th of april.  hopefully, there will be enough time. 

meanwhile, when i sleep at night, i'll be dreaming of yes, you said it...south africa.

good luck and happy trip! pasalubong...he he he... i was in dfa too last holy wednesday to accompany my sis in renewing her passport. kailangan na nga ng personal appearance pero sandali lang ang waiting time. buti na lang yung sa akin last year ko nirenew at di pa kailangan ng personal appearance. :).

kina whin, umattend ng graduation ni Basti...part na ng work mo, yang mga clients na makulits and pasaway.

tomorrow nga aatend ako ng recognition ni Alyssa, my medal si kulit ako daw mag sabit sa kanya:-)

So i asked some question to them na tackled sa seminar aba walng nasagot. At ang tataray pa wla daw silang time at busy. Sabi ko adjust in our time at d kami magadjust sa time nyo we are all busy. D pde pagbigyan at unfair sa iba na andun na knanina b4 lunch, dba?

Alam mo one thing i learned and some one told me na ang parents dapat ang nagaadjust sa mga anak hindi ang mga anak coz iba un generation ng anak at hindi nakita o narasan ng mga anak ang generation ng parents nila to adjust. While our parents saw and feel it. Right?

ewan nga bakit may mga taong hindi na nga maka intindi ng instructions sila pa yung maligalig. kailangan mo talaga ng mahabang pasensiya sa trabaho mo grace, though hindi madali at tao ka lang minsan talaga we can't control the emotions...grrrrr:-(

lokah...nanay na ba ako? kundi ko nga love ang batang yun, mag k2ganito ba ako... alam ko naman yun, kaya lang bilang anak gusto din nman nating unawain tayo ng parents natin.... nil2gay ko lang ang sarili ko sa situation ni lhai, kasi katwiran nila anak lang tayo at sila ang magulang...akalain mo yun...parang hindi tayo pwedeng masaktan, magalit at mag init ang ulo! kalokah yun ha!

i'm not mad my dear gracie, tinatama ko lang kung ano yung mga mali sa ginagawa niya...at lagi ko sinasabi na ang gusto ko lang na pag butihin niya ang pag a2ral niya, dahil yun lang ang pwede ko ibigay sa kanya hanggat kaya ko pa...... na sobra ko siyang love kaya kailangan naming mag sacrifice pareho!

lokah ka talaga grace, thanks ha....every time na andito ka talk to bunso na hindi siya mag hinanakit kung nap2galitan siya... na para lang yun sa kabutihan niya...! minsan kasi nata2kot ako for her, iba na ang generation ngayon...kaya siguro ganito lang ako for her own good!

sinanay kasi yan ni mommy edith nung buhay pa..lahat binibigay, ngayon tuloy hirap na mag adjsut si lhai, eh kung ano lang naman kaya ko yun lang give ko sa kanya at kung ano yung alam kung mabuti!!!

I hear it's really lovely in SA. I was supposed to go there years ago as a teenager but there problems with the organizers so I didn't go on the last minute. as in papunta na sa airport di pa natuloy. I think at that time, visas had to be processed somewhere else and the organizer of the meeting i was attending would just meet at SA with my visa. anyhoo, you're getting us excited over your trip too, blog while you're there ha :)
